Visitors to the Food Hall during the Royal Welsh Show ( July 23 -26) at Builth Wells will once again be in for a treat, as food and drink producers showcase some of the best products from across Wales.

From organic and dairy produce to meat, ice cream, cakes and drinks, the Food Hall has more than 50 stands selling a wide variety of food and drink.

The Welsh Assembly Government­-managed Food Hall has built up a reputation for quality and diversity and is one of the ‘must see’ attractions for show goers during the Royal Welsh, with many of the companies exhibiting winners of the prestigious True Taste Awards.

Among those taking part is Royal Welsh regular Adwell Foods/Welsh Brew Tea. This year the Swansea company will be introducing a new range of tea caddies with Earl Grey and English Breakfast tea as well as an exciting new packaging concept in spring water, under the Three Wells brand label.

While dynamic dairy co-operative, Calon Wen, will be showcasing its brand new more environmentally-friendly packaging, Eco Paks, which are recyclable, use less plastic than a polybottle, and take up less space in the recycling bin.

A range of crème patisserie and cheesecakes along with a new focaccia - pine nut and pesto - will be available on Caroline’s Real Bread stand.
While Celtic Country Wines will be showing its new and improved Welsh Elder port and Celtic Pride ‘Cider Brandy’ made from Welsh cider.

A bi-lingual Welsh gift box featuring a map of Anglesey, will be making its first appearance at the Show, from Anglesey liqueur company, Condessa.

Farmer-owned co-operative Dairy Farmers of Britain will be showcasing their Welsh brand, Cadog, which includes butter, milk and cheese

Romy Cuisine, which combines French flavour and Welsh ingredients will be launching three new patés and a ready meal. The new forest mushroom paté. Caerphilly paté, and duck liver paté will be available alongside a chicken and olive stew.

Visitors will be able to try before they buy at the Goats From Wales stand. The newly formed goat breeders co-operative promotes and markets meat from its members’ goats, which is available in a range of joints and cuts.

Goats’ milk confectionery company, Kid Me Not, will be launching a cheese alongside its established range of fudge and probiotic smoothies. The goats’ milk cheese has been made in association with the Carmarthenshire Cheese Company.

Established exhibitors in the Food Hall, Denbigh based Llaeth y Llan/ Village Dairy will be showing its new look fruit yoghurt pots and bi-lingual branding.

While confectioners Pemberton's will be launching toffee vodka truffles made using toffee vodka from Anglesey company, Toffoc.

Pembrokeshire bakers, Popty Cara, will have a new line of Savoury Welsh cakes along with a new syrup pudding.

Premier Welsh Hampers Ltd will be showcasing the latest addition to the range of Welsh products - Dewi Sant, a soft brie style cheese washed in mead, made by Pant Mawr Farmhouse Cheese.

Food Hall stalwart, Ralph’s Cider will be showing its new liqueur, Celtic Pride - a blend of Ralph’s cider and brandy made by Celtic Country Wines

Launched at last year’s Winter Fair, Sanclêr Organic Yoghurt Cheese will be making its Royal Welsh debut. Its origins lie in the Middle East and the yoghurt cheese comes in three varieties - natural; with basil and garlic; and with chives, and is made with organic Welsh milk.

Fellow Food Hall debutant, the Blaenafon Cheddar Company was formed just six months ago. It produces 10 different cheddars and four goats’ cheeses all made from Welsh milk. Its mature cheddar is matured in the mineshaft at the nearby Big Pit museum.

Up until the Royal Welsh Show, fans of The Welsh Sausage Company’s Welsh Dragon Sausages could only buy them from Langford’s Food Hall in Welshpool or Tesco stores, but they will be making a special appearance in the Food Hall.

Inspired by an alcoholic beverage available on the Alpine ski slopes, Anglesey company Toffoc Ltd have succeeded in developing a toffee flavoured vodka, which is making its first Royal Welsh appearance.

Brecon-based ice cream producers Llanfaes Dairy will be revealing its exclusive new limited edition flavour - Royal Welsh Crunch, which consists of caramel with honeycomb and nut crunch, along with another new addition "Welsh Honey", made from local honey.

While, making its first appearance in the Food Hall area, will be Cowpots which makes luxury ice cream made from the farm’s own herd of Jersey dairy cows, combining the milk with double cream.

Outside the Food Hall lies the Dairlylicious area, where throughout the Show visitors can learn more about Wales’ dairy industry and its wide range of products. They can meet dairy producers and manufacturers, do some tasting, watch cookery demonstrations and even see how cheese is made.
