Welsh drink companies are heading for Germany and one of the largest trade events on the food and drink industry calendar, Anuga (13-17 October).
Four drinks manufacturers: Drink Pac Ltd, Llanllyr Water Company, Radnor Hills Ltd and Ty Nant Spring Water Ltd, will be exhibiting under the Welsh Assembly Government’s International Business Wales and True Taste banner, and located in the exhibition’s drinks hall.
The bi-annual event held at Koeln Messe in Cologne is one of the most important exhibitions for companies looking to break into, or expand, their export business. Anuga 2005 was attended by nearly 6,300 suppliers and more than 158,000 visitors from 156 countries.
Ty Nant Spring Water Ltd has added outer refreshment to its portfolio and will be showing its new range of pure refreshing facial sprays - 'Ty Nant Replenish'.
Inspired by the award winning, Ross Lovegrove designed PET bottle the 30ml Replenish facial sprays are available in blue, red and clear variants.
Also on display will be the Bethania based company’s range of still and sparkling mineral water, including the chic and minimalist TAU spring water.
The Radnor Hills Ltd from Knighton will be launching their new Aqua 50 brand.
Made from sparkling Welsh spring water and fruit juice and nothing else, Aqua 50, comes in three flavours: Lemon & Lime, Blackcurrant & Apple and Cherry & Redcurrant. Packed in 330ml bottles Aqua 50 has been designed to deliver a refreshing, thirst quenching drink which is healthy and free from additives and sugar.
Producers of SOURCE pure natural spring water, the Llanllyr Water Company from Talsarn, will be exhibiting its still and sparkling varieties available in 750ml and 330ml glass bottles.
While North Wales drink manufacturer, Drink Pac Ltd, will be showing its range of drinks including Huckleberry fruit smoothies, Slim Life low calories meal replacement drinks, and Long Life milk.
The Deeside company also contract packs a wide variety of products for many leading retailers and brands.
In addition International Business Wales will have a stand in the fine food hall where information will available on a raft of Welsh food and drink companies and their products.
Tastings of some of the finest food and drink products from Wales already available overseas will also be held on the stand by food consultant Jo Roberts.
